I have a Model 880 trac-vac and had it hooked up to a john deere Lx277. I just bought a SCUT JD 1026. What modifications will I have to do to connect it to the back of my tractor? I know I will have to buy a different attachment for the deck.

There are about three issues you will run into. The first is changing the mount to a 3 pth system. The second is that your 8 inch hose between the vacuum and the mower deck is now going to be too short. The third is the head that attaches to your deck needs to be modified.
To cure problem number two. I sectioned the deck attaching head. It had to be both taller, and longer. I did this on a Kabota B series tractor. It took two days, and about 5 hours of cutting a welding. Have some CAD Drawings of the parts changed. Still a doable project.

At one point, I had one on my BX2200 and made no mods. I just used the drawbar instead of the three-point. The three-point would get in the way if not chained up though.

I don't see the huge problem. Modify the boot on the mmm and possibly need a longer flex hose. Both tractors pull the trac vac from the hitch as the unit has its own engine for power. Seems pretty straight forward. Should operate just fine.
