Fantastic job. I have a 10 month old, 2 1/2 year old and 4 year old--all boys! I better not let them see that picture!! I'll be working for the next twenty years trying to do 10% of the qulaity job you did. Ok, so I may be looking for a "cheap" older scooter for sale /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif....OK so how do you bolt the whatzit to the thingamajig and how do you run all the mechanicabuggythings /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Sorry for the delay in response, very busy.
Since I found my scooter in a local hospital garbage, I've seen them appear in local bargain papers, usually for a couple of hundred dollars or so. or at auctions- where no one wants them. Look for the ones with rear drive, preferrably with seperate diff. With the larger wheels it will have to be regeared. I went from 1:1 to 3:1.
Throw away everything that looks like handicap scooter and start from there!

We'll be at the Owls Head museum (maine) for the commercial and tractor show on sunday July25 so say hello and check out the lack of craftsmanship (and wear) on the toy
