Towing a Magnum

Hi everyone. Can a 7120 Magnum be towed when it is not running. Thanks for any advice

Put the transmission in neutral.
Make sure tractor brakes are able to stop the tractor once its rolling.
Have a vehicle that can tow 20,000 lbs.
Tractor can be steered but it may be hard without it running. (Like power steering on a truck or car when not running)
Hopefully you only need to get it back to the barn or shop.

OK, thanks. The neighbours got a leak and lost a bunch if tranny fluid when he was shredding straw in the corrals, so we wanna get it out and up to the shop

I know it has hydraulic steering so steering will be hard. I'm not sure if the brakes are mechanical or hydraulic assist so like I said, make sure you can stop the tractor. A free wheeling 20,000 lb. object can cause a lot of damage.

We were more worried about hurting the powershift if we towed it, but will make sure we got brakes. Don't need anything to happen
