Due to a severe fuel leak, the beast must be towed off the field to the shop. Is there going to be any steering or brakes available on the dead tractor?

I can not answer with authority, but I'd think that you'll have no assist with the steering and the braking will operate as normal without the motor running. Towing it out of the field to the farm shop or to be then trailered to a dealers shop should be no problem. If you have a bad grade to go down, test the braking before you get to where you might need them.

If the steering is anything like the steering on our L3830, you should have a little bit of steering but not much. You'll probably have to turn the steering wheel two or three times more than normal and it will be difficult to turn.
