How come they have so many white cars in India? I was watching the IRT TV show and most of the cars were white. Seeing your picture reminded me of the question. Do you know why?

According to my Indian friend -- Black is not considered an auspicious color in Hinduism and white is so may be thats why..

I noticed the same thing watching IRT DR. I am about 3 weeks from the finally on my DVR but the one with the pass where they were stopping traffic the whole line is white except a grey and one other color.

Another reason most cars are white over there could be because of the heat. A white car won't get as hot inside as a darker color one sitting in the sun. Possibly??
