Newbie here. Any one know the disk to rim torque value for a CK25 HST? I'm in a very hilly area and need to max out the width of the rear tires. The bolts are grade 5 carriage type bolts but I'm unsure of the size. Want to make sure I have a big enough torque wrench before I remove them.

Thanks!

The manuals contain conflicting info as to torque values. Some have reported stripping threads, when tightening front wheel lugs to suggested 50 lb/ft. I'd say that you should measure the bolt diameter, and use a chart to get a nominal torque for that size bolt. The ones you are asking about, (wheel rim to disc) are 14mm, (9/16" in american), on my CK30. Your CK25 may use the same size, since they both have 24" rear wheels

You can try the chart I attached, or search one out on your favorite search engine....Hill Billy Bob

I like the material description in that chart. Aluminum or 'Ordinariness'. :)
