My old Groundmaster quit moving the other day after mowing about 5 acres with no problem. The hydrostatic pedal seemed to have no resistance and the machine would not go forward although it would back up slightly...then stop.

I had hoped the linkage fell off, but no luck.

I tryed letting it sit, in case the oil had heated up and the thing would move after it cooled down, but it acted the same.

So now I have the pump out and siting on the bench. Could it be a valve, seems like the pump might not be getting oil. Any suggestions?

I think I have the parts and repair manual for this. I may be able to e-mail it as a PDF if you are still having problems.

Did you get the pump fixed? I bet it is the print between the two main bodies of the pump assembles. If nothing else send it to Hydro Services in Roland, Iowa.
