Top off or not?

I removed the backhoe today on my RK 24 and saw that the transhyd is at the bottom of the sight glass.. Should I top it off if I do what happens when all the fluid stored in the backhoe is added back to the tractor hydraulic system?

Top it off. Nothing will happen when you add the backhoe back on... however;

Did you release the hydraulic pressure in the backhoe's lines before looking at the hydraulic tank level?

Thanks... No I released pressure through the FEL joystick. Assumed I would have maintain pressure in the BH until was freestanding and blocked up

Always relieve the pressure in all BH lines before disconnecting. I didn't do that once and learned pretty quickly when I had to use wrenches and loosen fittings to relieve the pressure because I couldn't reconnect the lines otherwise.

Sounds like I'll have to do the same when the time comes to put it back on
