i just bought a used rear blade for my tractor yesterday and wanted to move it after i pulled it from the bed of my truck. when i backed up to it i then realized i didn't have a top link. don't know how i missed it, but i did. so off to tractor supply to get a stage 1 top link and pins. 30 bucks later i came back to hook it up and it's about an 1/8 too wide for the tractor? i just pulled out the grinder and hit both sides a little bit, but is this something that's typical for a compact? are the stage 1 links not quite whats on my tractor? or is that what you get when you buy some generac parts from a common distributor.
i guess i shouldn't complain cause it's working now but, just curious.
Also what a deal i got on the blade. it is a taylor pittsburgh 72" slider blade, rusty, but looked unused for $70. i felt pretty good about that deal.
