Buying Advice Top link for Landini 1-55

I'm getting a new Landini 1-55 this week and want to pick up a hydraulic top link for it. Can anyone give me a suggestion what length range/stroke length I should get? It should be the same as a dk55 I believe.

That gives me a good enough reference I think. In going to pick up a cylinder at my local princess auto and just weld on the ends. I'm going to aim for 20" retracted and a 10" stroke. After I get it done I'll post pictures if I don't make a mess of it

So I found a cylinder in the attic of my fathers' garage so that was a freebie! Bought some ends and hoses, then a little welding and presto! Still needs paint but works awesome!

Great job! Where did you get your Landini from, I was looking at the I-40 Cab at Hant's Equipment in Windsor, only difference from the DK 40 is the loader, no rear remotes standard or the lever for the three point from the rear.

I got it from Cumberland tractor. He has five 1-40's on their way and I think you'd like his prices. I think his are coming standard with 1 remote, does have the 3ph lever, loader, etc. You would be looking at a little over 2 hours drive past Windsor
