Top and Tilt with Hydraulic Box Blade on a Kubota B2601

I have a BX 2370 with FEL and am installing the Kubota BX7326 rear remote kit. It has 2 spool valves. Bought from Messicks for $350 including shipping to Missouri and a TNT from Fit Rite Hydraulics.

I'm not sure what your dealer is talking about :confused3:eek:ther than Kubota has no top & tilt sets for the BX & B series tractors, I sure do. As far as him saying that there are only top & tilt sets for the L series and bigger, there are only Kubota top & tilt sets for the some of the L series, all of the Grand Ls and for the MX series tractors. They have nothing for any of the M series machines.

As far as the control valves not working, again not sure what he means. There are factory rear remote valve kits for all the B series tractors that I know of and for some of the BX series. Some of the Kubota rear remote valves on most of the different series tractors seem to have internal leakage problems. This is a hit and miss situation. The majority of people do not have the internal leakage problems that are commonly talked about.

Any 3rd party open center valves can be used, you just have to build mounts for the valves and couplers and get hoses made to plumb the valves into the tractor's hydraulic system. ;)

Kubota does offer a top-n-tilt with the b26 tlb, but with only two rear remotes you can forget about using it with a hydraulic box blade or a rear blade with hydraulic angle (the most useful setup for a top-n-tilt)

Is not the B26 TLB not considered a std B series tractor? There are no T&T kits for a B2601 that I can see which is what the OP was asking about although I did say BX & B series tractors. So I stand corrected, thank you. ;)

This is how I did my remotes and TNT on my B2620(basically the same tractortractor), I'm still trying to get around to adding other 2 remotes on the left side of the rops. The top link is from surplus center and I made the side link from a generic cylinder from surplus center.

I added a backhoe so I had top leave the center section open on mine, if not you would have a few more options for the coupler location.

Sir,

I have a B2601 with BH 70 hoe and want to duplicate what you have done here with your rear remotes. I was hoping you could provide some insights on the main parts you used and how its hooked up.

Best,
Alex

Realize I am necroing an old thread. I am considering buying the dealer installed kit and want to understand what you are saying. With two rear remotes I can do a hydraulic top link and a hydraulic side link - doesn't this give me 2-way hydraulic angle for my box blade? (I don't have a box blade with hydraulic scarifiers so don't need 3 connections). Thx.

Yes. Some rear blades (not box blades) have a cylinder that rotates the blade around the Y axis so material slides to one side. You only get the other two axes with top and tilt. They're super useful for box blades.
