I'm thinking if you've got the money and storage space (smooth bucket)? I would definitely go with the tooth bucket, I've damaged my toothbar a couple of times (kinda rough on my toys!), so I figure a dedicated bucket would be the best option :D . My 2 cents.

I have an "EZ" brand toothbar that attaches to my bucket (or comes off) in a matter of a few minutes. There are times that I want that straight edge on the front, so it's nice to be able to take it off. When on, it makes the bucket edge stronger by far.

For space? A toothbar..............two bolts and off it comes. Just remember it is heavy as it should be

Toothbar or toothbucket? First question; do you have Quick Attach on your FEL? If not go with the toothbar, two bolts, 3-5 minutes to convert your bucket either way. Otherwise I would think it would be a huge PITA to go switch between buckets. Love my toothbar, it stays on my bucket 99% of the time. Will probably stay on until the snow flies and lands in my driveway. If money/space no object than a dedicated toothbucket to beat the crap outta is not bad either.

Either way put some aggressive teeth on the Kioti, really improves it's bite!

I partly agree with Willie,

In a perfect world i would go quick attach and have the best of both.
It would also cut down on the wear and tear of using the same bucket
for multiple tasks that mabye it wasn't originally intended for.
Also, changing buckets is not the PITA that some may imply given the
long term benefits.

There are some good 3rd party QA available at pretty reasonable prices.
Kioti does not offer QA for the K130 loader. That's my .02

Tom, Where did you chech for QA's that were reasonable? Or maybe reasonable is in the eyes of the buyer. I was interested in ATI brand. They only sell through dealers. Their mount will work with any standard skid steer attachment. I have a KL130 loader. Two local dealers put the QA mount for the loader at $700. There is a QA frame that can be welded on to the existing bucket or anything else you would like to attach for around $300. That's a little costly to me but I guess it depends on your uses and needs.

I couldn't afford a toothbucket so I got the toothbar and am pleased with it. Now that we are getting close to the snow season I will take it off and be able to use my bucket to scrape snow.
