toothbar for a B3030

Hey Guys, from reading through many threads I have gathered that the Markham toothbar is an excellent item. Could someone who has bought one for their B3030 please let me know what it cost, so I have an idea. A toothbar is something I should of had a year ago when I was putting in my yard for all the digging out of rocks. So now that I have finished the yard and have time I thought I'ld get one. After I needed it of course, but I guess I'll have it next time I need one.

This is the quote I got from Markham about a month ago for a 58-1/2" toothbar for my B3030. Price was right but I ended up picking up an ATI toothbar from my local dealer instead.

The price of the tooth bar is 231.00. Shipping to CT will be 37.44. UPS Ground.

I have done a fair amount of research on the toothbars as I am about ready to buy one for my b3030hsdc and have come to the conclusion that the H&H landscaper bar would work best for my needs. I would have loved to have been able to get something similar to it from Markham Welding but they said they did not make them with the smaller teeth. Seems like you can do more finesse work with the smaller teeth spaced closer together. The price shipped is over 600 dollars from my local dealer on the H&H but I think I would be happier in the long run with this option. My search now is for a dealer that can give me a better price. Anyone have a good source??? I think you just need to sit down and figure what you will be doing most with it and base your decision on that.

That's very close to the same price I paid for mine several years ago. Shipping across Big Mac may raise shipping cost a little more.

how does that toothbar mount to your bucket?

A 3/4" hole is drilled on either side of bucket to hold toothbar on. Teeth on bar have a notch cut in them to clip over cutting edge of bucket.
