Almost everyone agrees, SSQA Pallet Forks will be one of your most valuable & used attachments.

The answer to your question as to whether or not a bucket spade will work with a tooth bar is - no & yes.

I recently bought a bucket spade and attempted to mount leaving either my heavy duty tooth bar or my Piranha tooth bar. The shovel would not slide over the thickness of the heavy duty tooth bar. So I mounted my Piranha tooth bar and discovered the braces on top of the PTB prevented the shovel from sitting down solid. I simply took my grinder and cut two slots for the shovel to sit flat. The slots did not seem to effect the stability of the shovel at all. After all, my shovel is very heavy, i.e. 87 pounds!

So, in new received form the shovel will not fit, but with minor mods, you're in business.

Thanks Gem99ultra, slick mod.

Is anyone running a wicked toothbar or piranha toothbar with the R2 edge tamers? Specifically looking for people with the wicked toothbar. I have seen people with the piranha toothbar and edge tamers, looks like a nice combo to shear off vegetation right a ground level, without scraping everything off. The little extensions you can buy for the R2 edge tamers also look slick, if a bit flimsy.

Wicked tooth bar looks even better for this application, but I don't know if the edge tamers would fit, or if I can get passed the 435USD list price.

I don't have a tooth bar, but I do have the Edge Tamers. Here's a pic you can zoom in on to see how they look bolted to a regular bucket edge. Maybe that will give you an idea if they'll work for you.

I'm not sure they will?

But here's another thought (it's fun to spend other people's money). Go with a separate SSQA attachment for pallet forks and front spade:

https://www.artillian.com/products/pallet-fork-frames-forks/

These guys sell a frame, which you can put forks on, or a separate spade attachment. They also sell a grapple that goes on the same base frame.

Then you can just leave whatever tooth bar you get on the bucket all the time.
