the first thing to ask yourself is; "Is my bucket in good enough shape for a tooth bar?"

2ed question is my bucket heavy enough to take the added stress of a tooth bar.

I have a tooth bar on my heavy duty construction bucket on my skid steer. I will never have a bucket with out a tooth bar again.

Yes, tooth bars are worth adding. I'm not sure which brand I have, I got it from the dealer but there are lots of good ones on this site that I've read about.

Good luck

I like mine, I got it over the net, from Iowa farm Products. Makes it easier to dig, I have also used it, carefully, to rake with. One thing, you have to watch the corners with it, it sticks out aways, easy to catch something like a gate with it.....:(
