Toolholders on ballst box and receiver hitch

I added schedule 40 stainless pipes for toolholders on my ballast box and 3 pt receiver hitch. I drilled 1/4" hole across the bottom, cut lengths of 1/4" rod to put thru the holes and then hammered the ends of the rod like a rivet. Fabricated another holder out of some channel for D-handled tools and the chain saw.

Very sanitary looking...if I did something like that I'd probably use the white PVC plastic pipe instead of going to all that work cutting and drilling the steel stuff. NICE JOB !!

Why did you not make the holders flush with the top of the ballast box?
