For anyone interested, here's a couple pics of my wooden toolbox I built. Seat is all the way back and it over hangs at the back by 3/4".

Steve, looks like a good concept. What does the inside look like? Does it have shelves for tools, etc?

One shelf about 4" down from the top to put pins and wrenches if they'll even stay there. Sorry no pics of the inside, I thought for sure I had one or two. Planned on putting my grease gun in there but I will have to modify it to make it fit in. I've only been out on the road maybe a couple of times and that was just turning on the highway when plowing snow so I took the warning triangle off.
