Toolbox

Has anyone figured out where / how to mount a small toolbox on their Toolcat. I'm aware of the 2x4 placed across the bedliner. Looking for something inside the cab.

Any ideas?

Matt, I know you said you wanted something inside, but I put a small toolbox in the bed . It is probably 3 ft. by 1-1/2 ft. I drilled two holes in the bottom of the tool box and put two metal screws to hold it in place. It is made of plastic and I got it at Tractor Supply.

I use one of those semi collapsable, canvas bags in the cab. I just set it on the passenger floor. I take it out and throw it in the back when someone else rides inside. Can't find a good location for any toolbox. I keep several wrenches, pliers, vise grip, cresent wrench, few assorted pins, hammer and duct tape. Mostly for emergency needs.

The collapsible bag is a good idea; that's probably what I'll end up doing.

Duluth Trading sells a bag that slips over the passenger seat. I have one in my pickup and the thing is built extremely well and is quite useful. I would like to buy another one and use it in my toolcat but it would displace the dog and would not work at all. Our mutt pretty much goes bananas if I take the TC anywhere without her.

Eventually, I'd like to have a small pipe rack on my TC with some panniers (I think that's what they're called) mounted on to them along with a toolbox.

I ran across a convenient solution. This particular toolkit happens to fit nicely behind the seat as shown. It is available at Westmarine.com for $30 (sale price) by searching part number 5248430.

They make a in bed tool box for the rhino I wonder if one them would work.
