Tool Box Standard?

Please give me some advice on this. My LB1914 Owners Manual states that a toolbox is standard equipment. The manual was printed in 2000. I bought a 2002 model just last month. Does anyone know if I should have received a toolbox? Also, I'm thinking of mounting a narrow toolbox behind the seat bolting it to the rops. Has anyone mounted a toolbox on a 1914?

My DK40 has a small toolbox right behind the seat with springs to keep it closed.

I don't ever remember the 1914 ever comeing with a toolbox not to say it has not in the past.
