Went to the dealers today, my "old" 5085M wasn't being used, maybe an 2 hours a week. So I've decided to get something else something that I can actually use on the vegetable farm.

So I went to the dealers and asked him how much he can give me for my 5085M and he gave me 32K on it and I was satisfied, Priced me out a MY2012 5085M with the following options.

4WD
Base Cab
Corner Post Exhaust
12/4 SyncShuttle Plus
3 Rear SCV
230/95R48 R1W Rears
230/95R32 R1 Fronts
Front Weight Support + 6 Weights
Mirrors
Radio
2 Sets of Auxiliary Worklights
Brake Light Kit
Beacon
Horn

Suggested List 65,900
Selling Price 55,900

Don't know when but I would say it's a pretty good deal. I owe about 10k on the old tractor and then for the difference its 24k + 10k so around 34,000 for a tractor that fits down the rows. Perfect for what I need. :cool2:. I didn't want the PowrReverser because it has too many things and I had previous problems on the old 5085M.

With this tractor, I can spray, side dress vegetables, haul wagons, form vegetable beds, seed if I really want to, spread fertilizer, haul a row crop wagon that fits between the rows to pick up irrigation pipes.

Going to be a good improvement on the farm I would say. I hope IT4 won't be a problem for me :(

What was wrong with the setup on the existing tractor? Seems it would be cheaper to change wheels and tires maybe?

Congratulations.

Thanks, Dealer says October 15.

No one at my place likes the PowrReverser, hard to put it in the gears, need a cab at 7 AM early in the morning and I wanted to have continuous flow on the SCVs so when I top dress I have to hold on the leaver for so long till my arm gets sore.

Haha I think so too! I already have about 305 Hours on the 6430 Premium, running that thing everyday almost.

Lol, I'm quite sure you guys are right on the hours. I'm at 80 hours now and will probably be averaging 100 hours a year starting next year after I get my land all cleaned up.

Looking forward to seeing pics of another MY2012 M!

Edward you said:

"I didn't want the PowrReverser because it has too many things and I had previous problems on the old 5085M."

So..Is this the same thing as a 16x16 puwer shuttle?

also...

What is "continuous flow on the SCVs...?" Does this mean you cannot run a hydraulic motor on one of the SCV?
