I might get one of those bidet things (probably after the current crisis).. have some questions though. Do they heat the water? I hear folks talking about warm water, but our toilet is plumbed to cold. How much power do they use if they use electric heater? Our water is pretty hard, we have not had any luck with the hotspots for the sink, they start leaking after a couple years or sooner. Our water comes from the well at 52F, that is cold to have sprayed on my bottom..

That could get complicated. You probably couldn't stand it plumbed straight to a hot water line. So you'd have to rig up a blender of some kind? Or a small infared tankless heater blended to a certain temp.

Hook it up through a holding tank, so that the water has time to come up to room temp before using it.
