Toilet paper

But it's those little 4 packs of little rolls. But heck, it's a buck!

I am off to the dollar store first thing in the morning! Dollar Tree out here.

Alright fine... here it is... IT IS IN WALMART. Only don't look in the TP aisle. Look over in the RV/camping aisle. Probably 100 rolls or more there today. Not a single roll in the TP aisle.

My fiancé needed an excuse to go out. We had a picnic...safe spot, but she brought a shopping list. Nothing we really needed but we drove to the new Dollar store. We were the only people in it. Got everything on her list. Out of curiosity went down the TP aisle. Quite a few rolls. One 12 pack of the good stuff left so grabbed it.

We disinfected everything when we got home...that was a PITA. Hopefully that reduces her “need” to find an excuse to shop.

On what we bring home from the store if it is not produce or meat, it stays in the car for at least 2 days. Produce goes in the garage fridge and meat goes in the garage freezer. After all done the nitrile gloves come off into the garbage and the vehicle does not get driven again for as long as possible. Rotating vehicles that are driven. Taking this seriously.

Couldn't you have just PM'd your buddies here instead of alerting the masses?

Cat is out of bag now... wife did also find TP at the dollar store not knowing when we would hit the big one at Costco! :D

The dollar stores around here seem to have a regular supply of TP.

That's the 'type' of store where I found a HUGE pallet-load offering of quality, name-brand, TP. 36 roll pack, one per customer.

In my case it was a shop called "Shiploads", others could be "Chickenfeed" or "The Reject Shop"... here in Aus, of course, but you get the idea.

I used the "seniors hours" at Walmart and Costco.

Costco I must say has it down to a military-style operation. You line up outside ( YOU MUST HAVE A CART BECAUSE THEY SAY IT GIVES THE SAFE DISTANCE ). When the doors open for the seniors you march single file into the store stay in the designated lane down the middle of the store (YOU WILL NOT GO LEFT OR RIGHT THEY WILL SCREAM AT YOU).
Continue on a single file line and march down then the line veers left to a pallet of toilet paper with a worker dropping ONLY ONE pack of TP in your cart. As you move on a worker drop-in paper towels if you want. As you stay in your line then you get Clorox wipes if you want placed in by a worker.

At this point, you're free to roam the store for whatever you wish and they were fully stocked as normal. I picked up some OJ, butter, ribs, canned items, 25lbs of sugar, rice, dried beans.

At the register, they have marking on the floor to keep you separated from the others in the line. You do not unload your goods a worker does that for you. You do not approach the conveyor belt until you are instructed to. It was weirdly quiet no one talking not even the cashier. "let me see your card" and "here is your receipt" were the only words uttered.

It was pretty painless and I was in and out in 20 minutes.

The Walmart operation was doors open go wherever you want although the entire line made a direct route straight to the toilet paper then everyone dispersed to shop for other things. Again I was in and out within 20 minutes.

Those are the tiny travel packs with tiny rolls right?

Lower standards. Lol.
