TODAYS SEAT TIME

Bush hogging one of many puzzle piece paddocks or meadows. Iron and Joe Pye weeds blooming marks the end of summer. The wetter areas burst with aroma of a thousand Mojitos from wild mint. Mice, rats and bunnies scurry for cover to the surrounding woods. Hawks will high perch and watch me as I spiral around the field to nab a easy meal. Owls will eat good tonight too. Can only mow for a few hours before needing to clean the grill, screen and radiator.

I didn't spend much time sitting in the seat, but it was time to repair a leaky hydraulic hose,

Not too bad a job, once it's up in the air so you can get to it.

Looks like you are on the right track for fixing the leak.

Finely got started on getting water to the shed
Dug out a big clump of picky brush and a couple
of small mesquite trees hauled the brush etc with
the backhoe using the thumb now just have a few
small limbs to clean up then remove a cedar tree/bush
and start in finishing the trench for the water line. I
wonder how many weeks it would have taken me just
to get this far with using a shovel??? The price of the
YT235C with out the backhoe is a $1k less than what
I paid for the YT235C with the backhoe so my backhoe
only cost me $1K. Very expensive shovel but its great!
Its a whole lot easier to move those little levers that work
a shovel!!! It was hot in the sun today but when ever I wanted
a break climbed in the cab nice and cool for a cool drink then
back to work! such is life

$76.00 later and all is well again...

Then off I went to push a bit of dirt,
