Spent about 3 hours removing cactus, put almost 5
gallons of diesel in tank makes the 4th time filling
tank and 39.4 hrs on meter. That was working in
my shorts & t-shirt, slip ons and temp was in the
low 90's and a/c was on 1.

I spend my day rotary cutting for a guy about 50 miles from here, it was some TALL grass and brush, here's one of the fields,

How many acres and how long it take? Why do ghey keep them mowed? Just to keep them clear of vegetation?

That does look good! How much brush was mixed in with the grass? I hate seeing a field going unmaintained.

In those fields, I'm probably cutting at the rate of 2 acres an hour....sometimes it's pretty bumpy, sometimes smooth and then there's the brush to contend with...

Why do I keep them mowed? I've said this before in here and I'll repeat it again: City people like to mow everything in sight to make it look like a "park"... Then they go to the zoo to see animals... Country folk like to see the animals in their natural habitat, and go to the city to see a "park"!

The owner of this property is from the city... I just get paid to make it look like what he wants it to look like. lol
