I have on that is over 25 years old. Deck is rotted out, but Kohler engine still runs.
With steel prices going the same way that everything else is, a stash like that is worth holding onto.A friend is cleaning out his warehouse, and scrapping much of the "iron" that's in there... It's old industrial "stuff" and things that I would never use, but he did give me some steel, so I hooked the boat trailer onto a loader tractor and drove over there,

It will be useful for some building projects, in the future.
BTW, he gave me the "boat trailer" some time ago too. lol

If you read some of his other posts he's always at somebody's house splitting their firewood, or running his Howard across their garden, or...^^^^ So after 100 tons of free dirt...a free boat trailer...100 tons of free steel...
The world needs to know -
What's your secret Mr. Sawyer Rob?
Do people just Google for giving free stuff away, and and your name shows up top of the list???
Good points all!Geee, and I didn't even tell you about the really nice "glider rocker" that was given to me this week, the guy even delivered it....and remember I mentioned the three three lawn tractors given to me? That wasn't true, really there were four lawn tractors! LOL
SO, what's the secret?? The secret is, when someone needs help, you help them!
Like the time a couple years ago, I was cooking supper and the guy that gave me the lawn tractors called "frantic", his fords tranny took a dump 18 miles from here and could I come get him?
I shut supper off, got in my truck and went and got him, taking him home... That's what friends do and it shouldn't be a secret.
