It's almost Spring in Texas. We might have a few more nights in Feb where the temps dip below freezing but for the most part winter is over.
We haven't had much of a winter, but it dropped 8" of snow last night, and more is said to be coming.

I really don't care, I have some projects to do indoors anyway...

We had about 5" of snow here in Central Texas and about 7" at the farm in East Texas back in early January. It was nice for us because it doesn't happen often and doesn't last long.

Pine trees lose a lot of limbs when they get snow.

Put the Kubota in the snow for the first time. We don’t get this much in NW Alabama very often!

Mr. Lou, any chance of getting a photo of your back blade without the snow on it at some point?

Keenly interested in your hydraulic set up.

I have a similar heavy duty 8' blade, which also has angle adjustment at the 3pt...but no hydraulics. With TnT, I have 1 open remote unused.

If you only had one open remote, which adjustment would you install hydraulics on your blade?

Maybe more simply stated...which hydraulic adjustment do you use the most when you are plowing snow?

Interested in whether it is worth the effort to modify.

My LS XR4155HC has three remotes. Two are used for hydraulic top and side links.

I'm using my third remote for a blade angle cylinder on my Land Pride RB 3796 ..8' rear blade.

I use my hydraulic side link to "tilt" the blade. When I installed the hydraulic side link on right side .. I moved the original "adjustable" side link to the left side giving me significant tilt ability.

Thanks Mr. LostCreekRanch! That looks like a good blade by the way.

Your position is where I've seen it used most on a blade with a single cylinder.

Mr. Lou looks like he's got 3 cylinders plumbed in with a splitter or two added.

It's a blade on steroids!

Interested in that...and which adjustment he finds most useful.

I can easily adjust by hand, and have considered configuring like yours, although interested in all the options.

I have 3 rear remotes on my Branson, one goes to the hydraulic top link, one to the front that leaves one for rear use under normal circumstances.

I try to get some better pictures later.
I have installed a single diverter on the blade and a switch in the tractor cab to activate it.
This allows me to have to function using one set of rear remotes.
The non energized path thru the diverter is to my angle function as that is the one that I use the most for snow removal.
When I activate the diverter it will run the tilt function of the blade I will adjust that occasionally when I am at full angle to square the blade up with the ground,
or if I wish to load one corner or side of the blade to try and dig down in the ice or were my driveway corners are cambered.
I do have a second diverter sitting on the shelve to add to the system when I get around to it ;) that will be for the offset.
I'm set up for it in the cab, the switch i installed was a double throw and I wired the switch to a 4 pole round trailer connector in the cab rear wall.
Then I wired the 4 pole trailer side to a junction box on the blade and from the blade to the diverter.
Using the trailer connector makes the electrical connection of the diverter valve(s) simple and easy when hooking up or dropping the blade.
The hoses for the tilt have some more excess then the angle ones do so as to have enough hose length for when the blade gets spun around 180.
