We put things up and moved tractor,truck and cars to higher ground. We also took what was most important with us to higher ground. Hurricane Irene put water up to the insulation under my home but did not get inside like it did in my out buildings where it was 4 feet deep. This one is suppose to have more surge with it and a lot more rain so after 4 days of putting things up I told my wife its time to go. I am in Greensboro NC where my son goes to college. All we can do now is wait.

In my mind that has to be a very difficult thing. My heart goes out to you all.

Yes, be safe all of you. . .I have a brother who lives in Inman, SC. . .I guess he is expecting a lot of rain and high winds, fortunately no flooding.

The way I see it as long as you keep your family safe everything else will take care of itself. I hope we all get through the storm safely. Thanks for the kind words and concerns good luck to everyone in its path.

Good afternoon all. This is my first post to the site, newly registered, and bought my first tractor. Drove her about 10 miles home, and put her straight to work. Unknown 5 ft bush hog that I need to do a little work on, but I'll be looking for a 6 footer soon I'm sure. Massey 135 w/ the Perkins Diesel, 1974 model w/ 2000 hrs and 2 previous owners. Last owner had her for the past 40 years!

I generally like to mow but not those banks. The one in the middle picture is especially bad. Sorry about your buddy.
