TODAYS SEAT TIME

Cut 12 acres of hay today and made Mrs. Fox happy. She was getting the voles and mice the mower scared out.

got forks in yesterday, so used them as saw horses after moving lumber for the chicken coop, also move this weeks manure and turned the compost pile.

Spent about 5 hours cutting hay. About 13 acres.

Not much seat time for me today, about 30 minutes clipping weeds with the Branson 8050 on the sickle bar, spent the rest of the day getting ready for tomorrows seat time which I'm not looking forward to about 16 hours in the pickup, heading for Jacksonville N.C. to check out the problems with my daughters van, fun, fun,fun...

When I can work it in, I've been cutting mulch for the gardens... I managed to pick up the last of it today!

I'm sure glad to have THAT done!

Breaking in my new orange girlfriend. Spent first three hours moving a couple of piles of loam and then tried out the backhoe. Gonna take more than a few hours to become a smooth operator. Waiting for my EA grapple in 2~ weeks.

:dance1:Started to re-install a picket fence. The sections were the top half of a 6' stockade/picket fence that I cut down to 3' a few weeks ago. Not a real big job, but time consuming. Got to use the tractor and PHD, good seat time anyway. Yesterday, got some seat time spreading some mulch on a landscape bed.:cool2:

Not sure how many hours, but the picture lets you know what I was doing all day. So far 800 bales. 12 acres left to cut.
