Little hayfield on the other side of the creek is now cut and drying...

Lots of folk have said they like pictures I've shown of the creek that runs through my place, so I thought while I was over that way I'd snap a good picture of one of the better views of it.

Joe, I'm looking at that creek and want to put my feet in it to cool off.
With a frozen rum smoothie in hand

we got four inches of rain in two hours yesterday, bawoosh, and the lawn grew over an inch in one day. So since I have house guests showing up shortly, figured I'd better mow it.
So my seat time was mowing about 6 acres today, including my nut orchard. Sure was glad to get off that mower and get back inside in the a/c.

Me too. Eventually, one day, at some point, I want to try to build a small deck down near the water for that and other reasons. My main concern would be properly anchoring it as that creek rises a lot during bad rains.

Leveled off some groundhog holes/mounds in the hayfield. After that stacked the round bales my neighbor baled last week.
