No reason to be sorry - that is beautiful. My daughter lived in Marblemount and then Port Townsend both very pretty but now they are in Portland which I don't like near as much as Washington.

Here is how the city crew works. 3 excavators and one dozer to spread maybe 100 yards of fill dirt. I'm sure they need 44 men onsite so they can have 10 guys sit around and watch them dig.

We sold the goats today, so I tore down the pen and moved the goat shed next to our barn for additional hay storage. Now I finally get to clear the land where they were, and create more pasture for the horses next spring. Man it feels good to clean this area up. Our three acres feels a little bigger now!

My 3930 was used today but it wasn't me in the seat. BIL butchered his other hog this morning and used the tractor with the lift-boom to hold him up. My back has been giving me a fit, so I stayed away from the hog killing. Although late this afternoon I did ride down to the creek camp where my cousins were cutting the big oak out of the road. I hooked the tongs on a few of the rounds so he could pick them up with his bucket. He has a Mahindra that got their trailer loaded a lot quicker than I could have done it.

No supper on the tractor, but I have been camping a lot the last week, and I do come home to eat before going back to the woods. All the camp cooking I have done is coffee.
