I did not get into the seat but I did check the freeze protection level of the 'original green' antifreeze in the two tractors and four old vehicles that uses the old style antifreeze after I looked for an hour to find a tester. The cool part was I found a ton of tools, etc that I had not seen in years.

Later I picked up two gallons at Advance Auto that is morphing to the Carquest name locally. They wanted about $13 a gallon. I will check with NAPA because it was like $9 the last time I purchased there. I may look for an add pack so I do not have to change it due to age to keep from having to buy 12 gallons to replace it all.

Later in the week when it warms up we will remove the bush hog and put on the grader blade in case it snows this winter.

That reminds me I need to check the antifreeze in my tractor. It is usually stored in a heated garage and it is currently in a unheated&uninsulated metal building. It hasn't been below 25 degrees yet.

nice rocks! or are they small boulders...
I grew up with three granite quarries within fifteen miles of our farm.
And boy I wish our old JD B had been equipped with a FEL.
With three boys, I guess my father had his loaders...but moving a big rock around like that usually takes a small dozer or excavator.
Well, that hose probably needed changing anyway, right? And you got it done.

I was used to moving limestone arround then I moved to the 'granite state' and learned how heavy rock could be!

I cleaned up two trees and two tree trimmings I cut yesterday. I cleaned out the cutters on two houses, and fixed a sewer leak. No tractor needed for the sewer leak. Then I plowed the garden. I plowed about 3 times as much as pictured. An L3800 isn't enough tractor for a 2 bottom plow, my L3240 would have done way better. When I got finished I put the box blade on the tractor for tomorrows task. I solved the problem of having too short of a ladder.

No pictures but I worked over my spillways for my two ponds Wednesday afternoon, just in time for the 5 inches of rain we got in the last two days. The spillways work was long overdue and it made a big difference.

Cold, rainy day in S. Texas. Threw a couple of square bales and bags of range cubes in the loader bucket and hauled them through the mud out to the cows then called it a day.
