59 degrees basically staying there for the day.

Today I fire up my orchard sprayer and see if I can get the dormant oil spray on the
trees and just not me and the machinery...Since the weather forecast does not show anything below freezing, I think
I'm safe with the pump and tubing. Which reminds me that I can get the powerwasher out of the garage now that we are above freezing. I froze one pump about ten years ago and learned an expensive lesson. Those pumps are easy to change out though with four bolts. Now I have a nice 4000 psi powerwasher with a Cat pump and a Honda 390, which can go down to the barn. Who knows, I might even be able to get my car in the garage; wouldn't that be nice.

I always find it interesting to see how long it takes a new/sitting for awhile pump to seat/seal properly and make full pressure. That's when you start talking to your machine, c'mon, c'mon...
I run the water for awhile through it but that first start of the year takes a little fiddling.

Temps reached 60 today, so I put the bush hog on and cut about 2.5 acres of field I had left out for the wildlife for the winter. Sure felt good running the bush hog again, although the wind picked up, temps dropped, and it started to sprinkle as I finished up. Hard to believe we still had patches of snow earlier this week.

We had beautiful weather for a wk. or more now 13 C or 55 F and the sun just came out as I was typing this as we had some clouds & light rain over night. I've been getting lots of spring cleaning done after the winters snow cleaning up trees and limbs the snow knocked down.While working I get supervision.

About 5 or 6 acres done so far another 15 or 20 to go and I'll leave the rest.

Looks like lots of supervision - nice to have critters around like that. You got some nice shots.

I have a brother in lower mainland b.c. and he tells me off the good weather. I am so sick of this howling win, snow then rain then -35. I am well versed in logging and GIS. systems and I am looking for a job in b.c.
