TODAYS SEAT TIME

I took a round out of the 3' high snow banks here and blew them back. I really like my back blade

I spent all afternoon planting the skips in the long leaf pines with a Georgia backhoe. I never did find the seat on it though:eek:

Did some mowing down at the wharf. It still is an bulk fertilizer store so the grass grows like there is no tomorrow.
But it is a work site for the local fishing fleet so you find some odd bits of steel in the grass long forgotten.

funny, I did the same thing a week ago with an old disc harrow I found in the treeline weeds on my property.
Samuel, can you get decent metal scrap value from it? Not sure how NZ's scrap/recycling works. Drew

Larro, wonderful photo of you.

Not seat time but a little lever time. First time to really use the remotes on the new Kioti.

I had an inkling that it was there I busted a blade off last time I mowed there but I had no idea that is was so big.

I could scrap it but for now it is sitting on top of a heap of old concrete. I will have a closer look at it next time I am down there to see what condition the I beam is in if it is worth saving.

Spent about an hour plowing out the rental car I brought back from the airport last night. Got about 5-6 inches of snow and the last little grade to get out of my driveway was too much, of course my over trying to get out ended up getting it off the driveway and in some deep snow. It was pretty disappointing that car wouldn't make through that small amount of snow but oh well, it got me some time on the tractor.

I am going to clean up the 5 driveways + my own today.

I started at 10 and finished 5 minutes ago. Finished includes tractor cleaned off, greased, fueled, cooled down and parked in the shed.

more snow here today. This is the 5th Sunday/Monday storm in a row. The first 4 storms gave us 14-18 inches each. Nothing has melted, hasn't been above 20F all that time.

Spend a lot of the last 3-4 days shoveling off some of my flatter roofs, then scooping the roof snow up with the 3016 and moving existing snow piles to find places to put the stuff.

Last night we had rain. This new snow is coming down wet/heavy. Predicting 4 inches. Just what we need. Thankfully it's not 14-18 like previous weeks.

More 'seat time' coming but I'm really getting tired of this crap.
