TODAYS SEAT TIME

Had an opportunity to cut some firewood from a fallen white oak tree today.

I didn't get the seat time, but got to check out a friend's BX2670 while he was using it to assist in loading wood...I was blown away by how well it performed.

Here's a pic of my friend and his Kubota, and my trailer of wood.

Tractor hadn't been out of the barn in a while. (No snow to plow or blow here on the Gulf coast lol). Instead of using the mule to pull the trash can to the end of our long driveway I use the tractor every once in a while. I put it in the loader bucket by hand but to date I've been unable to feather the trash can off at the other end. It always tumps over. Lol

Stuart, it sounds like you need a grapple. Then you could carry it from above and set it down right where you need it. It would also resolve that horrendous job of wrestling it into the bucket by hand! :D

No doubt, a grapple is my next purchase. I have three big pine trees to cut down and haul to the burn pile and a huge live oak to trim up. I need one bad, it would save my back from loading limbs into the bucket by hand.

I'm getting to much seat time clearing snow. But if I have to do it then in a warm cab is the best way.

I'm getting too much seat time clearing snow. But I guess if I have to do it then the heated cab is the way to go.

Don't want you to feel bad but had to use the A/C in cab last few days. :)
