TODAYS SEAT TIME

I've had a LOT of "seat time", thing is it was all on this old Sears garden tractor,

As my wife and myself, traveled to and camped for a week, at an old antique tractor/engine show...

Media Gallery – Buckley Old Engine Show

We went there a few days early, met up with a bunch of friends, and it was a fun week!

I like the camper! I was one of the engineers

Ha, cool.
I live like 30 minutes from Buckley.
Still, been years since I went to the engine show.... Hope it was fun. See the big Avery pull the plow?

Nice trailer, but I wish you would have either made it a little "wider" or a bit longer!

I'd like the bed to be full size, instead of a "short" queen!

I have been going many years, seen the Avery get stuck a couple times pulling that plow...

Agreed! We tried many times to get our product developers to let us go to our normal width. They didn't want it for whatever reason. We have since gotten a new team that's a little more willing to take our suggestions.

Hawkins, nice job on the clearing.
Funny about rv beds, looking at new MB Sprinter based B+/C class, interesting to watch how different companies move modules around, trying to squeeze/optimize every
square inch. Am looking at Murphy bed models since that gives more floor room without a slide.

got all my mowing done, about ten acres, grass back to growing like mad with daily showers.
Otherwise it's hot and sticky out and most afternoons if I'm not in the cab tractor I stay inside.

Been working on a food plot last couple weeks. There was tons of debris from my bobcat bush hoggin' so I broke down and bought a used 6' Landscape rake. Got the plot cleaned up real nice.

Nice, that rake is one of my favorite tools.

Sorry for the late reply, been kind of busy.

I have 31 acres and grow on maybe 30 of it. This year I baled 98 bales on the first cut. These were 3X4X8 bales, 1300 pounds. So far on the second cut I got 15 bales off the bottom field, I hope to get 30 on the top. Have not baled the top yet. 90% of the hay is Alfalfa with the rest being grass. It'a a nice hobby but I would not want to count on it for my bread/butter income. For that, much more land would be needed and bigger equipment than I have.
Thanks..
I have 100 ac here but my biggest open field is just 10 ac, those fields just look vast, I would have guessed a lot more. That's a lot of hay!! I make a whopping $600 a year renting that field out to the hay guy. Usually just try to put it back into the land somehow..

We continued working on cleaning at the farm.

We have a big brush pile to burn and dirt to move, but we have made a lot of progress. Going to get the scrap tin picked up maybe next weekend and hauled off and the neighbor is going to dig out the stump with his backhoe. Then we will continue to move on north with clearing and organizing.
