The larger mushroom had to be 8" across the top !

Imagine being a toad and having this platform !

I think Ill stay with a couple of cold beers, and skip the hallucinogenic mushrooms !

Big mushrooms, we have some that puff dark spores when you kick them? I only eat the type from the stores? Sure don't want any wierd dreams..Ha.

Are they as potent as "Cow Patty" mushrooms? In Florida the people would go the fields after a good rain and start picking. The die hards would make "Schroom Juice" out of them too. I, personally have never tried them or ever would, but I heard that the end product will really mess a person up.

We have some that puff dark spores when you kick them?

I love mowing through those with the mower and get a kick out of the black puff that looks like a black puff of smole when you first start a diesel .

The black smoke mushroom, forgot its formal name can mess up your dogs nose and sinuses, or so i read. I walk along and pop them with my shoe, so I am probably bring a lot of spores into the house. Most likely bad for us?

They are called Puffballs. Most are edible and hunted around this area. Before they mature they are white and fleshy inside. I always have a bunch of them in the yard.

Mushroom Ring... As you can see by the full grown doe, some of these are 8 to 10 inches across.

Up here they call them puffballs.
Aparently they are edible in the early stages.

I had a 50' dia ring off them in my pasture this summer,some of these mushrooms where a foot and a half in dia.
