So my big root rake needs painting and I'm going to tackle it over the holidays. Right now it has a nice rusty patina but no major rust. I'm going to wire brush it and I wondering if I can substitute Ospho for primer? Maybe Ospho and primer?

OSPHO and PRIMER would be best.

Be certain to allow the OSPHO to dry for a few days, before covering it with any type of primer/paint
