TNxxSA...whats it used for?

My local NH dealer has a TN??SA on his lot and I wondered what its used for. My suspicion is orchards but I cant be certain. Even though its 4WD the tractor sits very close to the ground and has an under mounted exhaust. This particular macgine was fitted w/ turg tires. Any ideas??

If it has turfs it is most likely for some large estate or golf course who need/want a large tractor to pull a large finish mower. The reason it looks so low is because of the turfs. The TN-S is just a standard TN and it was fitted with the underhood exhaust option. If you can please post a picture.

TN**SA is probably a SuperSteer.

OK. thanx. This is in the middle of a large farming area. I dont believe there are any large turf farms or that sort of operation that could/would make use of a setup like this. I hadnt figured that the turf tires would have made it sit so low. Between the low sling of the machine and the under hood exhaust I thought it might be some sort of special purpose setup. Sorry I dont have anyway to get pics.

It could be. I use to always think the S was for Standard but Supersteer would make more sense and if it has turfs it most likely has Supersteer.

You don't need a turf farm in your area to have a tractor like that there. I know of a few people who use similar setups to mow their yards and the golf courses here use tractors like these to run large finish mowers on the courses and the schools use them for mowing the athletic fields around the schools.

Yup, thats it! Thanx! There must be a turf farm or two around this area then b/c there are certainly NO golf courses or schools w/ grounds big enough to justify such a specialized machine.
