They do fail. Should not be a chronic problem unless there is a problem with the cross shaft or release bearing sleeve.

The more I adjust the cable the higher the pedal . but no clutch release.
Please help ?

If the cable is moving the arm that’s welded to the cross shaft as it should, that’s all you can ask of it. You are likely going to have to split the tractor and find out what is wrong with the clutch.

i have a TN70DA. seems like when i had to make my clutch tighter it was getting higher also. i had to loosen the cable underneath the tractor to make it work. that let the pedal come back down where it should be. completely opposite from what you think it should do. of course you might some other problem also.

I had to split this tractor and found one clutchfinger worn off. Now for the replacement.
What amount of hours do we tolk about to finnish this job ?

I've found things always go back together easier than they came apart. I've done smaller Tractors and once I got the clutch set right it usually took me 4 or 5 hours to put it back together with a helper.
