I have a 2002 or 2003 TN75S. It has the electromechanical tranny. There is a warning light that blinks all the time. The tractor works normally. The dealership looked up the code and gave me a list of things it could be. However, they have no computer that hooks up to it and gives the exact nature of the problem. The closest dealer with the computer is 2.5 to 3 hours away. I now have a piece of duct tape over the annoying flashing lights. Does anybody know of an aftermarket device that I could purchase to pinpoint the problem?? I only wish I had not gotten this tranny. Like I said, everything works fine, but I am still nervous about the light. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA
The dealer offered to start replacing parts, but said it could be $4000 to $5000 to work through it and with no endpoint guarantee they would ever find it. They were not pushing to do that, just being upfront about it.

when you say it works normally? do you have to clutch it when you go from forward to reverse with the shuttle?

No clutch required for forward to reverse. Tractorman, thank you, I will go out and count the flashes tomorrow. Thanks to both of you.

Transmission pressure switch is about the cheapest component in the system, and the most likely to fail if it hasn't been changed to the newer design. Often will throw a code without a symptom. Used to change them by the handful until a better version was introduced.

Thank you Rick. I will see if that has been replaced.

Rick, I got a list of all the parts replaced since this started. Would you know the number on that part? The code that continues to blink is red 5 short ones, 3 long ones and then 3 more long ones. From talking with the shop at the dealership that apparently is a code 33?? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Looking back I see where 87384756 "pressure switch" was replaced. Was that it??
Also 5184399 "sensor switch
5178640 "switch"
84148281 "electro valve"
87575340 "Electronic control unit"
84148281 "electro valve" (are there 2?) done at 2 separate times
5168054 "valve solenoid" 2 of these were replaced

Any help from you guru's would be appreciated. Sam

I turned wrenches on a few dozen TN tractors from their introduction till about 2 years ago and I'm pretty sure I never had to throw that many parts at one tractor. I could probably count on one hand the solenoid valves I had to change.
