Greetings. Got a friend that wants me to do some repairs on his tractor including a new clutch. Anyone out there that has done the clutch?? I'm trying to find out what I'm up against before I take on the job. Unit has a cab. Will it need to be removed to split the tractor?? I have a full shop at my disposal and have done many tractor clutches. This will be my first blue one.

Not real difficult. New Holland suggests removing the cab, which does make it easy to split. But you can also remove the front cab bolts, loosen the rear mounts, remove the appropriate linkages and tilt up about 5 or 6". Unfortunately, it is still a little cramped getting to the bolts on the top of the bell housing, but it can be done.
