TN75 syncro clutch pedal spring broke

Today my tractor clutch pedel spring broke. I've tried searching for how to repair - mainly where it hooks up and how to get in there to work on it - but haven't found anything. Anyone ever break one? And what is the easiest way to fix it? Do I need to take the dash out? Any help would be appreciated.

The spring is about 3 inches long - eye balling it. I'm sure it isn't that expensive, I'm confused as to where the other end hooks up since I can't get my large mellon under there far enough to see anything. I really don't want to have to tear everything apart just to put a spring on. Currently the tractor is sitting in my driveway with the forks under something on my trailer.

If it is a big job to fix, I'll have to put it in neutral and tow it out and down to the barn...

Welcome to TBN. I have taken the spring off when doing a clutch replacement, but don’t think it is diffic to get back on. I may have just used Vice Grips to get back in place.

I had one break on my Ford-New Holland 7740 bout 20 years ago while out snowblowing. Needed it fixed in a hurry , found a real close match at the local hardware . Stretched it in with a pair of vise grips in about 10 seconds and worked fine. I ordered a new one from New Holland but just kept it as a spare. I can’t imagine yours is much more difficult, should be pretty obvious hole or hook at the stationary end. If you’re having a hard time seeing under there a mirror or better yet lighted mechanics mirror should let you see where it hooks too.
