TN70 DA AC issue

My tractor squeals and balls when I turn my AC on. I looked at the belts they appear fine. I can't seem to find any sort of tensioner to adjust the AC belt. Any suggestions on how to go about eliminating this noise ?

The sound is most likely a loose belt(s). The compressor drives from the fan pulley, which is tightened via the alternator. Most likely the compressor belt is the one making the noise, and is adjusted by loosening the mounting bolts slightly, tightening the belt by leveraging the compressor with a pry bar and retightening the bolts. There is a support bracket on the engine side of the compressor with a slot for adjustment.

Most likely to be loose fan/alternator belts. But it could be the compressor belt as well.

Well, Finally got around to tightening the belts and the squealing and balling continues when I turn my AC on. Just ordered belts I hope that solves the problem!!!!!!

Job Completed. It was the belts. They were dried out and cracking bad.

Ok so it's been a couple weeks and I have a very low pitched squaw still any ideas. I feel like i'm chasing my tail!:mur:

Two things come to mind. Are you using NH belts? My experience with NH belts, they are on the narrow side even when brand new. The compressor belt is a single belt, and needs to be TIGHT or it will squeal no matter what belt you use. For this reason, I try not to use the NH part. I prefer a NAPA Gold, or a CarQuest belt. They are notched on the inside, and just a bit wider to fit higher in the groove. If the belt has been slipping much at all, the grooves get worn and OEM belts don't get the traction they need. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but that's my opinion.
