Price Check TN55 pricing

I’ve been tractor shopping and glad to have discovered this forum! After a lot of looking I’m focusing in on a NH TN55D 4x4 with the mechanical shuttle and NH loader (72”) plumbed into 2 remotes, standard farm tires and grill guard. I’ve been back and forth to several dealers in the area (around charlotte-statesville-winston, nc) and the best price so far is $23,199. They all say price good to the end of year when NH may change their program. Is this price reasonable? I guess the special promotions are over. Thanks

The grill guard sucks. I had them take mine back for a credit. I bought a TN 65, MFWD, MSL loader, syncro shuttle, three remotes, two of which are taken by the loader, 14.9 x 28 rear with 8.3 x 24 front tires, horizonal exhaust and heavy duty loader bucket for $25,086 with the grill guard. Knock off the $150 credit for the guard and you have $24,936. I think if you break it out the price they gave you might be a little high for what amounts to basically a stripped tractor. Someone else on the board can give you a URL for the bid prices for the state of Minnesota, take those prices on my options and deduct them from my price and you ought to be close to the price to shoot for .

There is a list price with percent discount at State of Minnesota Contract Pricing. This site has manufacturer's list prices for many tractors, but this posting is getting a bit old. If you were to buy the amount of equipment that the State of Minnesota buys, you could get a 31% off-list discount for the TN series. Since you probably won't purchase that much, use the numbers as a goal to reach and see how close you come. A 20% discount is probably a good deal for a single purchaser.
