2010 New Holland TN 75s
Hello,

I have been messing with the tractor all day! I have a TN 75S. I was chisel plowing drove the tractor to the barn at the end of the day shut it down. It sat for about two days went to start it and nothing. It has power, sit on seat dash lights come on, clutch in, tractor in neutral hit the key nothing no tick tick tick no tractor turning over. Its almost like the tractor is sensing it not in neutral or the clutch isnt depressed or both. There nothing no noise the dash doesn't dim, battery is fully charged. It did it a few weeks ago after I wiggled all the levers and messed with it for a few it started up. Figured it was just a fluke so didnt bother looking into it. Throughout the day of chiseling I shut the tractor off numerous times it started right back up. I have checked the neutral safety switch and it seemed to work all the fuses are good as well. Am I missing something somewhere? I dont see a code light flashing on the dash either. I'm going to have to call and have a service tech out if I can't figure this out. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Had a similar incident happen with mine and it turned out that the safety switch under the seat had worked loose. Pushed the connector back together and she fired right up.

Make sure that your battery ground is "bright and tight" where it connnects to the chasis

You said you "wiggled the levers". Did you hold key to start while jiggling? My PTO switch is balky sometimes and denies the starter if not in just the right position. Just a thought. Good luck.

I agree with the above assessments. My tn75s did the same thing when the seat sensor switch went out...bypassed it and all was well. Also, if the pto lever is even slightly forward, I had the same thing happen. Push it back and forth and make sure it's all the way back. Good luck and let us know what happens.

I tried the seat switch still nothing. Also I tried the pto switch. The ground I seen it seemed to look alright. To late now service tech just came and picked up the tractor. I will post what the problem was when I get it back. Probably something extremely stupid. They said there's 4 switches or sensors that can override the clutch in and in nuetral to start. So we will see. Thanks for he input guys.
