Only have about 25 hours on mine so far. When I climb my slopes 20 - 25 degrees ( not working on that just traversing straight up and down ). The machine labors in low. Is this normal ?

Cheers

In low range, that is not normal at all.

I'll give few details on what I mean by laboring. Revs set at about 2500, hit the slope in A range. Revs drop to about 2000, and vary a little lower /higher depending on the steepness of the slope.

Do you have Load Match turned on? If not this sounds normal. If you do have LM on something is wrong becuase LM lowers ground speed to maintain rpm.

I think that is normal, this is a 43 hp tractor that weighs 7,600 lbs. The 110 will seem a bit sluggish compared to lighter higher hp tractors.

It should be able to push into a pile of dirt without bogging down much in A range, that has been my experience.

Yep... they're heavy buggers! Lot's of iron in a small package.

When the tractor begins to pull down rpm's - ease off the forward hyd pedal. You'll lose some speed; but, the tractor won't bog down 500 rpm! Should stay within 100-200 rpm of the initial throttle setting.

The last thing you should do is - push the pedal down even farther!

The 110 tlb has load match built in. It can not be turned off like a 4xxx series. I agree that 500 rpm drop seems like a lot, but 20 -25% grade is pretty darn steep.

I think everything is ok. It is a heavy machine for the hp, it digs fine. Finished off a nice track around a dam today.

Very happy with the machine. Just thought I would check.

Thanks all.
