TL70 wont start

Okay, I am puzzled, but I may be close....

My TL70 has new battery, new terminal ends, has been starting and running fine until yesterday. Now, when I turn key on, everything is as should be, every gauge moves, radio works, a/c works, etc. But, when I engage the clutch to start, everything dies. Is there a switch or something that has probably gone bad?

Try to find a circuit diagram to help you trouble shoot this. I'm not familiar with the specifics of
your tractor.

Usually there is a seat swich, a pto switch, and a clutch switch that have to be in the closed position to energize the starter solenoid. I think the lights go out to provide max current for starting when the the key switch moves from RUN to START but the starter circuit is open the starter isn't engaging.
That's where I'd look for bad key switch or loose wire, a bad safety switch, a bad solenoid, or bad solenoid ground.
