I have an 05 Tl100a Deluxe with the 24x24 transmission. When I first purchased the tractor the tach worked then it started getting stuck at different rpms then it just finally quit working. I figured the cluster went bad and purchased a new one but never got around to installing it and having it programmed. I use the tractor for running a baler and bale wagon so for pto speed I just watched the digital readout and never worried about the tach. About two weeks ago I went to bale some hay pulled the pto switch out and nothing! No light on the dash and no pto speed. After shutting the tractor off and restarting the pto then turned on and ran fine but after awhile I shut it off and when I went to turn the pto on again nothing so I shut the tractor off restarted it and it still wouldn稚 come on. After awhile of turning tractor on and off and playing with the switch it finally started again. Over the course of that day and a little into the next day it finally got to the point where I never could get the pto to turn on. I contacted a few of the closest dealerships and asked them for wiring schematics so I can troubleshoot this issue and they all responded by saying sure I will email them right over.... well they never got around to it and then my wife and I welcomed our first child into the world and I knew I wouldn稚 have much time to troubleshoot the tractor plus I still didn稚 have any schematics so I decided to haul it down to the dealership and have it checked out. This was on a Wednesday and I had hay that needed baled and stacked on the weekend they told me I should have my tractor back by the weekend. Well Friday at around 4 they finally pull it into the shop and I asked them to go ahead and install the new cluster I had previously purchased and reprogram it plus troubleshoot the pto issue. Needles to say I wasn稚 going to have my tractor back in Time to bale my hay. Monday rolls around and no word Tuesday comes and nothing so I give them a call to see what the heck is going on. The service rep informs me that they installed the new cluster but the bad news is the tach still doesn稚 work and they have 7 hours into troubleshooting the pto and haven稚 came to a conclusion yet. I asked if there was power at the solenoid they said no so I asked if there was power into the switch he said yes. Is there power coming out of the switch? They said yes! So is there power signal going into the computer (think it痴 a transmission control module)? They said yes so then I asked well is there power coming back out of the computer and they answered no. So sounds to me like the computer is bad but he said they didn稚 want to throw a computer at it because there might be wiring issues that痴 why the tach still doesn稚 work. So I told them to spend another hour or so on it and if they still can稚 find anything call me back with a price on the new computer. So the rest of Tuesday goes by Wednesday comes and goes and Thursday痴 gone now and I haven稚 heard anything from them so tomorrow I will have to call and see what they say. Anyways that was very long winded but wanted you guys to have as much details as possible can anyone get me the wiring schematic and or explain to me what all running the pto includes? Is it just the switch to the computer to the solenoid or does the program look for certain peramiters/safety痴 before it will let the pto turn on? Any help would be great! I need this thing going ASAP I already lost the hay I was supposed to bale last weekend and I知 going to have another field that needs baled next weekend!

You can buy a pdf version of the workshop manual online from several places. I'd start there so you've got the schematics and diagrams to answer all your questions.
Sounds like the dealer is just poking around at yours in between other jobs and they don't have someone that is good at actually diagnosing issues as opposed to guys who just change parts.
