Hey Guys, this is my first post, so forgive me if I screw up! I pulled my pump to rebuild it, and discovered the bushing that its shaft slides into is chewed up.It looks to be a simple splined bushing that slides into a crank driven gear. The drawing doesnt show any retaining rings,etc.that hold it in,but I cant get it to budge. Ive talked to several shops,but cant find anyone thats actually been into one. If I cant get it out from the front,the cab will have to come off,possibly split in half and motor unbolted to get to it from the back. Anyone been into one of these?

Stupid design with the timing gear train at the rear of the block.

You pretty much described the situation although it probably isn't necessary to remove the cab.

So is there no way to get it out from front?

So,after no luck with a slidehammer,i took it to a professional. He was able to find that their was an earlier version that never made the parts manual..so it has be split in half as I was suspecting.just wanted to share this if it will help anyone in the future.
