tl 1900 hydraulic question

hi everyone..i have a bush back hoe and f.e. loader on my tl.i broke the # 1 rule .let my friend borrow it.well blew an o ring on spool valve.fixed that but now the front end loader goes up and curls .but wont open or come down un less i rev it hard. which i believe my buddy did and how back hoe valve blew.the back hoe is not hooked up now.the loader comes down fine if i kill the engine.but when runns it seems binded.i cleaned hy/trans filter it was prettydirty.can there be air binding it up.ithink it might have been low on fluid to begin with.there are no quick connects for the f.e. loaderits hard plumbed.i no if i take a hose off it fluid was pumping so ithink my pump is good.this site bails me out all the time so thanks in advance..bill

bleed the air out by extending and retracting all the controls a couple of times.

thanks mit, tried purging with control handle quite a few times, still binding .
